بتاريخ 28/10/2020 زار فريق استشاري من الجامعة التكنولوجية برئاسة الاستاذ الدكتور صالح العطار مدير مكتب الاستشارات العلمية والهندسية مطار كركوك الدولي جاءت هذه الزيارة بناءا على دعوة وردت من سلطة الطيران المدني لغرض الاطلاع وتحديد حجم الاعمال المنفذة والتي تحتاج الى تدقيق ومصادقة من قبل الفريق الاستشاري
جرى خلال الزيارة اجتماع بين ممثلي سلطة الطيران المدني وممثلي شركة قمم ازمر والفريق الاستشاري كما تم التجول في مرافق المطار للاطلاع على واقع الحال
